Eire Og London club notes

August 24, 2015

We took on Crawley and Brighton Gales in the final ground stage of the Championship on Sunday in Greenford. The game got underway an hour and a half later than the scheduled due to the Crawley team getting stuck on the motorway and a no show from the referee.

Once the game got underway it was a competitive with both teams going head to head in the early stages. A goal before half time ensured we went in with a six point lead.

A strong second half performance ensured with increased our lead and went on to win the game 1-15 to 0-05.

Stand out performers on the day where Anthony Rogan, Sean "Brush" McGrath, Joe MacMahon and Trevor Draper.
