St Clarets GFC London club notes

July 27, 2015

Last Thursday, we bowed out of the London Senior Cup as our team compromising solely of London born players lost in the quarter final. Tir Chonaill Gaels could take some consolation after their previous two results against us as we lost 2-14 to 0-7. Despite the score line there were some good performances put in. Had we taken a few more of our chances it would've been a much closer game but ultimately we lost to a stronger team on the night. Congratulations to Luke Everitt and Lyndon Bradley who made their senior debuts for us. Also, thanks to Paul Myers who came out of retirement yet again for the game.
The team was: Paul Myers, Matthew Healy, Joe McCarthy, Lyndon Bradley, Luke Kelly, Liam Healy, Sean Killeen, Shane Buckley, Luke Everitt, Alfie McNulty, Ryan O'Connell, Gary Wynne, Conor Martin.

This weekend our senior team face Dulwich Harps in the second round of the championship. This takes place on Sunday in Ruislip, 12:00pm throw in

Training continues on Tuesday and Thursday, 7.45pm at Kingshill Avenue

Youth training continues each Wednesday, 7.00pm

Congratulations to Pat Lynott and Karen Keating who got married in Kerry over the weekend. We wish you both the best of luck in the future
