Éire Óg London GFC club notes

Last week we had two games in the league. We took on TCG in Greenford on Wednesday evening, we beat a resilient TCG by a score of 1-12 to 1-6. On Saturday we travelled to Peckham Rye to take on Dulwich Harps. We were quick out of the blocks and built up an early lead, Dulwich put in a good performance but we were the better team on the day. We won the game 3-15 to 1-1. 

This week we have two games, a challenge game on Wednesday evening against North London Shamrocks in Tottenhall Sports Ground, throw in 7:45pm. On Saturday we host a double header in Downhills Park, we take on Garryowen at 4pm, tis game is preceded by Thomas McCurtains against Tir Chonaill Gales at 2.30pm.

Training takes place in Downhills Park, N17 6AP on Tuesday's and Thursday's at 7.45pm. Turnpike Lane underground station is a five minute walk and Seven Sisters is 15 minute walk from our ground.

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We are based in North London and have our own pitch and changing facilities. The club covers a wide area including, our catchment area for players include; North, East and Central London, the city of London and Westminster, boroughs of Islington, Camden, Haringey, Kilburn, Hackney, along with many other areas.
