Tir Chonaill Gaels Youth Notes

April 21, 2015

Condolences
Our sincere sympathy goes to Liam Burke (and all the Burke family) on the death of his wife Geraldine. May she rest in peace. Funeral details will be posted on the website once confirmed.

Condolences
Our sincere sympathy is extended to the Pettifer family on the unexpected death of their son James.  James was an inspirational teacher at the Sacred Heart Girls Secondary School in Harrow and as such many of our current (and past)  TCG Girls have had the good fortune to be taught by him.  He will be deeply missed.

Well done
To all the boys and girls who took part in the North London Shamrock Blitz on Saturday last.

London County Board Prize Draw
TCG Youth were the lucky recipient of £500 in the London County Board Monthly Draw for April.

London Irish Vintage Club
The LIVC would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who attended their cheque presentation event held in the Clubhouse.  Over £100,000 was presented on the night which brings the grand total of monies raised for charity over the past four years to a staggering total of £270,000.  Thanks go to Pat and Mary Masterson for their catering, to Barry Bradley for his musical entertainment and to Eddie O'Kane (youririshshop.com) for donating a luxury Irish hamper and years supply of Barry's Tea for the raffle along with an exclusive cutlery set donated by  Bernadette McGovern. The Vintage Club appreciates the sponsorship and support it has received since its inception in 2011,  The annual vintage day will once again this year be held at Greenford on Sunday 6th September.  See you there.

Birthday Wishes
To Caroline Madden as she celebrates a "special" birthday.  Congratulations from us all at the Club.
