Coggins keen to build on momentum

Paul Coggins is more focused on his own team's performance.

London manager Paul Coggins would rather there was no break in the Allianz NFL campaign.

A three-week break has been pencilled in between the second and third rounds of the league and although London have begun the campaign with two defeats, Coggins feels that they have plenty to build on.

"I'd prefer if we had another game next week, but it is what it is," Coggins told the Irish Post. "That is the way that it is, we just have to accept it.

"We might get a couple of lads back from injuries so we can have a chat about things to make ourselves better again.

"It is hard to take losing a game like the Carlow one. We are bad losers, that is the way it is. It was a great effort, one of the finest efforts I've seen from a team so we will drive forward."
