Sympathy

It is with great sadness to say that a long standing member of the Tara GFC Mr Gerry Duignan of Greenways Garden, Colindale originally from Corraneary, Aughavas in Co Leitrim passed away on Tuesday the 20th of January 2015. Tara GFC would like to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to his dear wife Anne and his two daughters Jackie and Colette. May he Rest In Peace.

His funeral arrangements are as follow:

On Friday evening the 30th of January at 7pm His remains will be received into The Sacred Heart & Immaculate Church, 2 Flower Lane, Mill Hill, W7 2JB

On Saturday morning the 31st of January at 10am Requiem mass followed by burial at Hendon Cemetery & Crematorium. Holders Hill Road, London, NW7 1NB

 

Tara Youths Calenders for sale

Tara Youths Club still have a few beautiful 2015 calenders for sale with lots of photographs of our young Gaels to view. It would make a fantastic gift for family or friends. Pre season training will start on January 30th

An opportunity for 8 in total one hour sessions of Pre Training Gaelic Football sessions will begin for the U10/12/14's on a Friday nights at Hendon Town FC (Kingsbury Town) which will commence on the Friday the 30th of Jan from 8pm-9pm following on into Feb 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th and March 6th, 13th , 20th. This will cost £15 non refundable which must be paid in advance. Places are limited, so it is advisable to book ASAP contact Secretary Tracey Monagle on 07535597383

This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills and to prepare for the 2015 season. The training and coaching team will be managed by Eddie McGivney, Pat Rafter, Andy Redican & Brendan Gallagher.

 

First Aid and 2 Coaching Courses

A First Aid Course will take place in Ruislip on Saturday the 21st of February for 3 hours from 10am till 1pm. The cost is £35 per person.

A Foundation Level Gaelic Football Coaching Course on Saturday, February 14th in the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip.

A Level One Gaelic Football Coaching Course over 4 Saturdays: February 21st, March 7th, 21st and 28th all of which will be in the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip. Both courses are limited to spaces, if interested contact the Secretary Tracey Monagle ASAP on 07535 597 383 ASAP

Date for the Diary

Tara GFC will host their annual Dinner Dance at the four star Crown Moran Hotel, Cricklewood on Saturday the 7th of March 2015 with doors opening at 7pm. Special guests on the night will be Tomás Ó Sé and Niall Lynch. This is one of the best fun nights on the Tara calender where all the clubs members, coaches family and friends come together and socialize with a beautiful 3 course meal and music to entertain you from Barry Owen. It would be advisable to get your tickets as soon as possible before they sell out. Tickets are £40 per person or £400 per table of ten, £480 per table of 12 now on sale by contacting the Secretary Tracey Monagle on 07535597383.
