Kilburn Gaels 1-10
Mullinavat 1-8

Kilburn Gaels of London claimed the notable scalp of Kilkenny's Mullinavat in today's All-Ireland Club IHC quarter-final in Ruislip.

The Exiles edged a closely fought first-half on a scoreline of 0-5 to 0-4 but they seized the initiative early in the second-half thanks to a goal by the hugely impressive Stephen Lambert.

The visitors pulled a goal back to reduce the deficit to the narrowest of margins - 1-7 to 1-8 - but the Keith Kennedy captain side held on for a famous win.

The Tom Bergin managed side can now enjoy the Christmas festivities before turning their attention to a last four clash against Cappataggle of Galway on Sunday, January 25th.
