Manager Barry Morris insists John Mitchels are not favourites to retain the All-Britain JFC.

The Liverpudlians qualified for back-to-back finals when defeating Sean McDermotts of Warwickshire by four points at the semi-final stage and face high-scoring North London Shamrocks in the decider at Pairc na hEireann on Sunday.

"I would argue whether we are favourites or not," Morris told The Irish Post. "On the basis of the performances the Shamrocks have been putting in, they're as equal favourites as ourselves.

"Once you get to a final, both teams are capable of anything and they're both there on merit. It will depend on who brings the best performance and who wants it the most."
