The draw for the Munster championship has seen All-Ireland champions Kerry awaiting the winner of a Waterford and Tipperary quarter-final.

Cork and Kerry could have been paired in a semi-final but the draw separated and the Munster big two are favourites to meet in yet another provincial final.

In Connacht Mayo are through to a semi-final where they will face either New York, Galway or Leitrim.

Roscommon will have one eye on a final place with London and Sligo standing in their way.

In Ulster the preliminary round threw up a moounth watering clash between Donegal and Tyrone, with the winners to face Kieran McGeeney's Armagh in the quarter-final.

The top half of the draw sees Cavan face Monaghan, with the winner facing Fermanagh or Antrim in the semi-finals.

In Leinster champions Dublin will play Offaly or Longford in the quarter-finals, with Kildare on their semi-final side.

Defeated provincial finalists Meath will open against Wicklow for the third time in four years.
