Cu Chulainns' manager Sean Reilly paid tribute to his players after they captured the London IHC at the second time of asking.

A 0-16 to 1-08 win over Thomas McCurtains in the final replay last weekend earned Cu Chulainns the title and Reilly was delighted with the win.

Speaking to the Irish Post he said: "It's a great achievement for the club, especially for this group of players. We've spent two years trying to mould the team together, trying to keep players and keep the backbone.

"I think that was the key this year. It's very easy to coach a bunch of lads who are willing and able and very committed."
