The senior season ended on Saturday when they were defeated by 1-9 to 0-13 by Moindearg. It wasn't the greatest season ever, but a big than you to the payers and management for their efforts. Onwards and upwards in 2015. As D-Ream put it - things can only get better!

St Clarets Girls team took part in the Tara J French Girl's tournament on Saturday 13th Sept in Greenford.  They won two out of their three group games to gain a place in the final of the cup versus Parnells.  Oh what a final it was!!  Our girls, despite being a goal and a point down in the final minutes of the game, came back to score a goal and a point to level the game at full time, this sent the crowd on the side line delirious.  The game went into extra-time and unfortunately we lost by one-point.   Each and every girl played their hearts out for the team and battled for every ball, they were an absolute credit to not only the club and mentors but to their parents as well. We would like to thank each and everyone of them for their efforts today and big thank you to their parents for taking the day out to support their child.
Don't worry girls our day will come!!

Date for the diary: The club's annula dinner dance will take place on Saturday November 1st at West Middelsex Golf Club. More details next week.
