London GAA chiefs are hoping to be able to start work on the redevelopment of the Emerald Grounds, Ruislip by November.

The planning process is at an advanced stage and it is hoped that the first machines can move into Ruislip over the coming months.

The London club finals were completed last weekend and the way is now clear for the redevelopment work to begin with next May being pencilled in as the completion date.

The development work has yet to go to tender and once that is sorted, the first phase of constructing a new playing surface and seated stand can begin.
