Seniors
Our Seniors bowed out of the Championship last Sunday after a tight affair against Eire Og in Oxford. Eire Og started out much the better team but Dympnas got going halfway through the first half and ended up leading by a point at half time.

The second half was again very tight but we lead for the majority of the half until Eire Og levelled with less than a minute on the clock. A win was a must given our defeat to Glen Rovers in our first game and we pushed forward. Possession was lost in the forward line and Eire Og countered to take victory with the last kick of the game. Result 0-13 to 0-12. Obviously all the lads were bitterly disappointed come the final whistle but every man can hold their head high with how they performed on the day.

This performance needs to be carried onto what is essentially a League Semi-Final for us again against Eire Og in Oxford next Sunday 3rd August, with a 12.15pm throw-in planned.

Thanks to the Pines Hotel who laid on food on out return from Oxford last Sunday.

Underage

Our last underage training for u8s - u16s is tonight (Friday 25th July) at St.Josephs at 7pm before the summer holidays. Training will then return in the first week of September through to mid October.

The club is holding a Cul Camp on Monday 28th, Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th July at St.Josephs, Gardenia Avenue Luton. It's £10 for one day, £20 for 2 days and £25 for 3 days. To register your child contact Annette on 07732285566. More info on the camp can be found on our Facebook page.

Well done to all our u16s who represented their county in the All Britain Final last Sunday. The match ended in defeat for Hertfordshire but great to see St Dympnas again well represented on our county teams.
