The next meeting London Youth Committee meeting will take place on Monday the 15th of September at 8 30pm at The Emerald GAA Grounds at Ruislip and meetings will continue to be on the third Monday of every month

3rd Annual All Britain Competitions (ABC's) last weekend

The All Britain Competitions was held last Friday the 11th of July to the Sunday the 13th of July at Tir Chonaill Gaels, Greenford, This event was a very successful one and the weather was beautiful the whole weekend. This covered a large range of Gaelic football and hurling with both boys and girls from the age of U8's to U18's from all over Britain. A big thanks to all who worked endlessly at the grounds in all the preparation up to the event, during and after to ensure it was run smoothly. Well done to all the clubs and to those who traveled to be a part of such a fantastic even that is held annually. Thanks to our visitors Liam O' Neill President of GAA, Pat Quill President of ladies, Ulster GAA President Martin McAviney. Thanks to Lloyd Colfer London CDA and Mark Gottcha, John Gormley Chairman of ABC, Brendie Brien President of Provincial Council all the Provincial Council committee for the great organisation of all games and presentations. Also a big thanks to all managers/mentors and parents who may have taken time off work to support their children and clubs. A big thanks for all the fantastic catering and to all at TCG for their kindness and hospitality shown throughout the weekend. Thanks to all the sponsors ESB, The Irish Post and O' Neill's. Successful World Record attempt

The World Record Attempt in fielding the most amount of players in a Gaelic football match was a great success in Greenford on Friday the 11th of July. London have broken the record but we must wait to have it verified properly. We has 425 players in the Gaelic football match where 399 was the record to beat. It was great fun and a big thanks to all who took part both young and old in helping us to achieve this record. It shows how the Irish in Britain come together for this unique opportunity in achieving this. James Turnabull the Adjudicator was there to ensure all the rules were put into practice. President of GAA Liam O' Neill was present along with others such as Brendie Brien President of Provincial Council, Sarah Murphy, Noel O' Sullivan Chairman of London Senior County Board, Mark Gottcha Secretary of London Senior County Board, , John Gormley Chairman of ABC, Liam O' Neill President of GAA, Michael Kingston ABC Committee, Lloyd Colfer London CDA, Claire Duffy CEO & representation of sponsor ESB, Diarmuid Walsh Secretary of Provincial Council, Tom Mohan Chairman of Tir Chonaill Gaels, Seamus McGarry ABC Committee, Tom Montgovern Assistant World Record Volunteers.



London U16 footballers were beaten last Tuesday night when they traveled to Birmingham to play Warwickshire. The final score was Warwickshire 0-09 to 0-06 London



Tara GFC will hold a Girls Football/Camogie day on Saturday the 13th of September at Tir Chonaill Gaels Grounds in Greenford
