Thomas McCurtain's lose one of their finest

July 11, 2014
The Thomas McCurtain's club is mourning the loss of one of its founding members.

Cork native Tim O'Sullivan emigrated to the U.K in 1952 and helped found the club in Dagenham. A life long member of the club, Tim helped many Irish get on their feet when they travelled over.

Thomas McCurtain's clubman Tom Watson told the Irish Post: "They won't make them like that anymore. He gave hundreds of people employment, half of Dromina.

"He employed a lot of Irish people in Essex - every Irish person looking for work, he gave it to them."
