Clare will join neighbours Tipperary in Division 3 of the Allianz Football League next year after a nail-biting victory over Antrim this afternoon.

After missing out on promotion in 2010, 2012 and 2013 on the last day of the season, the Banner have finally made the breakthrough thanks to a 0-10 to 0-6 victory in Creggan. The home side had reduced the arrears to two points, 0-6 to 0-8, before Colm Collins' side grabbed the last two points to seal promotion.

If Clare had slipped up, Wicklow would have taken advantage after they staged an incredible comeback to beat already-promoted Tipperary by 4-12 to 0-22. Tipp looked to be cruising to victory until injury-time when Harry Murphy's men scored three goals in the space of two minutes (yes, you've read correctly) to take the spoils.

Elsewhere, Leitrim ended their campaign with a 2-6 to 1-7 win over London, while Waterford were 1-9 to 0-9 winners over Carlow.
