London forward Henry Vaughan believes it was the right decision to enter the Leinster SHC.
In just three years, London have gone from winning the Nicky Rackard Cup to playing the Leinster championship. Some may feel that the step up to the top tier has come too soon, but Vaughan is adamant that it was the right move.
"I think it was the right call," he told the Irish Post. "Better to have a go than not have a go. Sure we could have remained in the Christy Ring this year, and then Kerry are going well, so you might not win that.
"You can lose your first two games and you are gone. But now we are competing at a level where players want to competing at a level where players want to compete and that is why we are getting the players we are now - that joined who wouldn't necessarily have if we weren't where we are now."
