London manager Ciaran Deely admits they will have to be at their best to defeat Offaly in the All-Ireland SFC qualifier at O’Connor Park this weekend.
The Exiles travel over on the back of a decent performance against Galway in the Connacht SFC last month.
Offaly are still favourites to win the game and Deely admitted to the Irish Post that it is hard to argue with that.
“I rate this Offaly side,” said Deely. “I played against them a few times for Wexford. They have always been a good team. They work hard, they have a game plan and they stick to it.
“They are always very fit and physical and with John Maughan that has gone to another level this year. So we aren’t viewing this as a favourable draw in that sense.”
