Wicklow 2-14

London will face either Derry or Kildare in the Christy Ring Cup final at Croke Park on Saturday, June 23 after powering to a 14-point victory over Wicklow at Netwatch Cullen Park.

Aaron Sheehan struck 0-14 and Shane Lawless scored a rapid brace of second half goals as Fergus McMahon's charges produced a devastating display. When George O'Brien netted for Wicklow late in the first half, they only trailed by two points, but the Exiles finished the half strongly to take a 0-15 to 1-8 lead into the interval.

The game was still in the melting pot before Lawless took centre stage with two goals in a matter of minutes to propel London into a 2-21 to 1-11 lead. Andy O'Brien got a goal back for the Garden County, but it was a case of too little, too late.

London will discover the identity of their final opponents after Derry and Kildare meet in the other semi-final in Inniskeen tomorrow afternoon.
