St Clarets Club Notes

April 23, 2018

On Sunday our seniors travelled down to Mitcham for a McArdle Cup fixture against newly formed Wandsworth Gaels.

St Claret's were awarded the fixture as Wandsworth don't officially have enough players registered.

We faced each other in a challenge match that St Claret's won 3-8 to 2-7 after a stronger second half performance saw a good comeback by the lads with the goals scored by Alfie McNulty, Stephen Curley and Kyle McGovern.

Well done too all the lads and congratulations to Charlie "Chips" O'Donnell, Daniel O'Connell, Shane Treanor, Caolan McAndrew, Kyle McGovern and Stephen Curley who all made their St Claret's debuts.

Good luck to new signing Andy Corrigan who unfortunately suffered an injury last week in training.

The team was: Paddy Donaghy, Charlie O'Donnell, Padraig Donegan, Daniel O'Connell, Aidan Bradshaw, Ronan Gaughan, Shane Treanor, Caolan McAndrew, Jack Lavelle, Kyle McGovern, Ryan O'Connell, Paul Keenan, Stephen Curley, Shane Buckley, Alfie McNulty.

Subs: Gary Wynne

This Sunday 29th April we face Tir Chonaill Gaels in the McArdle Cup.
