We hosted our Annual Dinner & Dance last Saturday and as always it was a well attended and enjoyable night with over 200 guests packing into the Prince Regent Hotel in Chigwell. There were plenty award given out on the night. The footballers were presented with their Championship and League medals and the Hurlers were presented with their 2015 League, 2017 League and Ronan Cup medals. Individual awards were also given out on the night:

Camogie Player of the Year - Aimee Duncan

Most Improved Camogie Player - Orla Dennehey

Ladies Footballer of the Year - Michelle Johnson

Most Improved Ladies Player - Katie Hayes. 

Footballer of the Year - Niall Coffey & Brian Hourihane 

Hurler of the year - Sean Murphy 

Young Hurler of the year - Liam O'Brien. 

There was also a special presentation to Brian Ryan on the night in appreciation of his contribution to the club. 

Unfortunately The Beast of the East struck during the week and the planned charity match in aid of Crumlin Children's Hospital between the 2007 team and this years football team could not go ahead. Hopefully it can be refixed for a warmer time of the year.

Training continues as normal this week with the footballers returning to Goodmayes from Thursday night. The Camogie team have their first run out of the year next weekend. The travel to Birmingham to take part in the Birmingham 7's Tournament on Saturday. We wish them the best of luck. 

Membership: 

Membership is now due for the upcoming year at the following prices: Mens playing and social membership can be paid online by clicking the link here.

Mens Football and Hurling players - £105 (includes a bag, polo shirt, socks and shorts)

Social membership - £40 (includes a hat and a scarf)

Ladies Football - £60

Camogie - £50

Underage: 

Training will recommence in April for all ages. Hurling will be every Monday from 16th April at 7.00pm to 8.15pm and Football will be every Wednesday from 18th April 7.00pm to 8.15pm at Campion School, Hornchurch, RM11 3BX. There will also be additional football sessions in Thurrock Rugby Club from 1st May.

New Players:

New players are always very welcome to join our friendly club. We have Gaelic Football & Hurling teams for both men and ladies from u-8s up to Adults. We are based in East London; the club covers a wide area and current players live in many different areas, including, Gants Hill, Woodford, Leyton, Leytonstone, Stratford, Romford, Dagenham, Brentwood & Chelmsford as well as many other areas. Transport to and from training and pick-up from stations can be arranged, if required.
