Micky's last chance

Any credit to Mickey for taking an evolving team to 1 game away from an
All-Ireland final?

I'm not entirely sure credit is due at the moment, this year has been a great success no matter how it ends no from a progression point of view with regards to evolving a new team. As for some of the carry on from players in White and Red though, it's been very much a backward step from a moral point of view...If Tyrone ended up going on to win the AI it would be a tainted one given some incidents particularly in the last two games.

As I have said before Micky has shut me up before I am man enough to admit that.
It also looks like he might do that again.
We have not played well all year and are now 70 minuets away from an All Ireland final
what A way to shut all us doughters up.

People need to take a good look at themselves, This isnt the 98 Minors anymore i think theres 2 or 3 players left in the panel that he evolved to become 3 time all Ireland champions. The amount of teams that have replaced their managers time and time again, Armagh have went to the dogs and there is whispers that Big Joe could be heading back. Mickey has done well and deserves credit for taking this team who didnt look that great at the start of the league. To be honest being a Tyrone fan is not easy the ups and downs in the last 10 years has been incredible but sure you'd have it no other way

IN MICKEY WE TRUST

GetOverTheBar - Just admit that Tyrone have done well this year and don't buy all this media crap about Tyrone being the anti Christ of Gaelic football...they play to the rules and no differently to any other team.

For a change I've actually went down to the Tyrone games this year despite not really being a follower of the county team, worked out well with work etc/double headers...They've done well surely, I can admit that. I thought they'd get the road by Kildare to be honest but I was wrong. They defo have done well, think they are a step ahead of where the majority of people thought they would have been after the Donegal game where quarter final was the general consensus, the draws been fairly kind to them too which is what you want in the qualifiers and has helped bring on the team no end.

As for the fouling and takedowns etc, there is no media bias...it is there to see plainly, I understand supporters of the team sticking by them no matter what but there comes a time when you have to take your head out of the sand, I have never heard a GAA team get booed off before and that is what happened the other day. It was hard watched and I actually was embarrassed when Tyrone supporters around me were cheering after 'that tackle' by S.Cavanagh.

At the end of the day as the man himself said, he played the game to the letter of the law...but lets not forget, Tyrone aren't exactly the most liked county in Ireland and this does absolutely nothing for the image at all, especially after the Lacey spitting incident at the start of the year.

i think its the right time for him to move on ,is it just that he wont let go of his old team or is stephen o neill the best forward yous have ? there must be better in the county than what he put out apart fom penrose ,the rest of the team had nothing to kick the ball into ,a fresh approch in tyrone is best , but mickys still a great man and a gentalman ,

I have said numerous times I am indifferent to county football, I love to watch it but don't really support any county as such, I enjoy playing for my club and voicing my opinions on the game. I just hope the black card sorts redresses some of the wrongs recently, every county is at it I know, but would you really take an All Ireland win this year, with those things to be thrown at you? Compared to the football and admiration that Tyrone won back in 2000s?

Mick Harte is the best team manager in Ireland> End Of>. Continued Success is guaranteed with Micky at the Helm. Look at the success of Kilkenny under Cody , Kerry under Micko . Continuity is the key factor to building Championship winning teams. Do you not remember all the poor performances in the past due to the chop and changing of the manager-Eugene/ Art / Danny.

gotmilk, obviously not. I don't recall saying that, I said it would pale in comparison to previous victories.

GOTB an all ireland is an all ireland. I don't think this one would mean any less to the people on the streets of Omagh, Tralee, Castlebar or Dublin. All 4 counties left have partaken in cynical acts.

I really hope you are trolling.

On the contrary I think it might be the sweetest victory of them all if the boys did it, after all the guff we are facing from all the begrudgers.
