Dromore
Dromore GFC continued their 75th aniversary celebrations last weekend with an inagural 7 a side tournament , held at their Gardrum Park playing complex, involving local teams Dromore ,Drumragh, Fintona, Trillick, Killyclogher,and a Paul Mc Girr representive selection which included former Tyrone star Stephen ONeill among their line out. Following some exciting clashs from the games on Friday and Sat evenings, the final was played on Sunday night between Dromore and Trillick ,with the home selection running out 3.10 to 3.5 victors with current Tyrone panelist Shaun ONeill hitting3.5 for the winners. Following the games conclusion club secretary Seamus Mc Nabb thanked tournament sponsor Strathroy Diaries for their support and presented the tournament trophey to the winning Dromore captainAidan Goodwin, and sports vouchers to thewinning panel ,the tournament refsMickey McCarron, andPatMc Atee from Fintona, and the tournament runnersup Trillick. Following Seamus , club chairman Liam O'Neill then concluded the evenings proceedings by presenting the player of the tournament to delighted Dromore player Paddy Montague. The following represented Dromore in the final against Trillick, Peter Ward, Colm Donnelly, Hugh Mc Nulty, John Mc Kenna, Emmet ONeill, StephenFitzpatrick, Sean ONeill, Shaun ONeill, PaddyMontague, andAidan Goodwin Wed July 16th saw club players Aidan O'Donnell , andSean McNabb play at Croke Park as part of the Tyrone u16developement squad which played in a tournament against the other Ulster counties at head quarters with both players using the game as part of their continuing preparations for Dromores minor league quarter final with Derrylaughun, on Wed next July 23 , at GardrumPark. Tuesday 24thJune saw local primary school St Dympnas win the county medium sized schools title at the Cumman Na Mbunscol finals held in Pomeroy with the winning panel, Tiearan Sludden, Emmet ONeill, Dean O'Neill, Aaron Devine, Oran Sludden, TiearanMcDermott,MarkMcGrade, Ronan Slevin, Jullius Van Brugen Eoghan Teague, and Jack McShane. Good luck is extended to Colm Mc Cullagh and RyanMcMeniman with Tyrone seniors this weekend in Drogheda ,and to Conor ONeill and Ronan McNabb with the Tyrone minors on Sunday afternoon.

Adult Football:
The senior and reserve teams both travel to play Castlederg in the O'Neill's Sportswear Tyrone ACL Division Three & Reserve tomorrow night (Friday) 18th July. Throw-in times are fixed for 7:00pm (Reserve) and 8:15pm (Senior). Transport will leave the clubrooms at 6:00pm sharp. All support for both teams would be very welcome.
The senior team are scheduled to play Augher in the opening round of the WJ Dolan Tyrone Junior Championship on Sunday 27th July at Loughmacrory. No date has yet been set for the start of the Reserve Championship.
Training for the clubs senior and reserve teams continues on Wednesday and Friday nights at Páirc Mhic Sioghair. All players are asked to be on the pitch and ready to go for 7:40pm each night. Any players who are unable to attend any of the sessions are asked to ensure that they contact Dermot or Dessie.
Any club player at adult level who has yet to receive their training top are asked to contact Paddy Jack without delay.
Youth Football:
The Juvenile footballers next league game will be at home to Omagh on Saturday 26th July and then on Wednesday 30th July the boys are away to Beragh. Coaching for the clubs Juvenile (Under 16's) footballers will continue every Tuesday night from 6:30pm - 7:30pm at Páirc Mhic Sioghair, all new players welcome.
The clubs Under 12 footballers will be away to Errigal Ciarán next Monday night 21st July. Transport will leave the clubrooms at 6:00pm sharp.
The Under 10 footballers will travel to play in a Go Games Blitz in Dromore this Saturday 19th July. Transport will leave the clubrooms at 9:30am sharp and all players are asked to bring £1:50 for the bus and a water bottle.
The next Under 8 Blitz will be on Saturday 26th July in Carrickmore.
There will be coaching for the clubs Under 12 and 8 age groups this Saturday morning at the club grounds from 11am -12noon.
Coaching for all Under 12, 10 and 8 age groups will continue every Tuesday night from 7-8pm at the club grounds. New players are always welcome.
Ladies Football:
The senior ladies next scheduled league game is on Saturday 26th July at home to Kildress.
Training for the Senior Ladies continues on Monday nights at Páirc Mhic Sioghair from 6:30pm - 7:30pm. Training is also on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. The Juvenile girls travelled to Ederney, County Fermanagh last night (Wednesday) to play a challenge game. Coaching for the clubs Juvenile Ladies squad will continue on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. New players are very welcome. Any queries contact Isaac Hassan, Mickey Joe Friel or Marty Conway.
There will be training for all Under 14, 12 and 10 girls at the club grounds from 7:00-8:00pm every Tuesday night. All new players are very welcome. All female players are asked to ensure that they have their registration fees fully paid up.
Tyrone v Louth & Ulster Final Tickets:
Any club member who ordered tickets for this Saturday or Sundays Tyrone games are asked to contact Aodhán Harkin to collect their tickets.
Good Luck Tyrone:
The club extends good luck and best wishes to Tyrone senior footballers in their All Ireland qualifier against Louth at Drogheda this Saturday night and also to the Tyrone minor footballers that will play Monaghan in the Ulster Final at Clones on Sunday. Best wishes also to the Tyrone hurlers who play Sligo in the Nicky Rackard Cup.
Club gear & Leisurewear:
The first batch of the new club gear and leisurewear has now been distributed and judging by reaction there will be a need for a second order very shortly. Anyone who has yet to receive gear should contact Youth Officer Kieran O'Kane. Anyone interested in ordering any gear, shorts, socks, kit bags, polo shirts or tracksuits should also contact Kieran O'Kane without delay. This also applies to adult members.

Membership Fees:
The club membership for 2008 is now officially closed. Social Membership can still be paid and any new playing members at adult or youth levels (male and female) will also be accepted.

Social Activities:
Entertainment continues as usual in the Social Club this weekend. Sunday Night: Mervyn Finlay @ 8:00pm.
The Social Club Committee are organising a big fun weekend towards the end of August with a Charity G.A.A. match, a Fun Day and a range of other activities for all the family. More details will follow in the coming weeks. All club members are urged to lend their support for the event.

This week's lotto numbers were 2, 14, 15, 16. There was no jackpot winner and one match three winner. Next weeks prize is £1700.
Underage Training
Training for Under 8s and 10s resumes at Paddy Cullen Park this Friday evening 6 to 7:30pm. The cost involved is £1:50 to help cover training costs. Could all parents please collect children at 7:30pm sharp.
Under 16s
The Under 16s will travel to Clonoe next Wednesday evening with a 7:30pm throw in. Training continues next Monday evening at 6pm all players must attend.

Best of luck to Ryan Pickering and Brian Kelly who will represent Tyrone in the Ulster Minor Final this Sunday. Best of luck also to Owen and Raymond who will feature in the Senior squad in the All Ireland qualifiers.
