Adult Football;

On Sunday Páirc Mhíc Sioghair will host the relegation play off between Strabane and Urney with throw in at 3.30pm, all support for the lads would be greatly appreciated.

 

400 Club Draw;

Friday 27th October will see the penultimate 400 club draw of 2017 take place in Sigersons social club, can all sellers please ensure tickets are paid up.

 

Youth Football;

Commiserations to our under 16 boys who were defeated by Cookstown in the Semi Final of the Championship on Saturday past in Garvaghey, the final score was 3-8 to 2-7 with the East Tyrone side grabbing two late goals.

 

The attention now turns to the Under 16 league Semi Final this Saturday in Páirc Mhíc Sioghair at 3pm, all support for the lads would be much appreciated.

 

The Under 16 girls game on Monday night was cancelled owing to the weather conditions, a new date and time for the game is still to be confirmed.

 

On Thursday 12th October Sigersons hosted the Sean Duffy memorial tournament for the Under 12 girls, in attendance at the tournament was Strabane, Castlederg and Aghyaran. Strabane were victorious as they defeated Castlederg four points to three in the final.

 

Strabane Sigersons under 10 boys hosted their annual memorial tournament in honour of Gearalt Ó Dochartaigh who was the past honorary president of Strabane Sigersons. There were six clubs in attendance, the two Newtownstewart teams joined Strabane and Drumquin in the shield semi-finals. In the trophy semi-finals it was Clann Na Gael paired with their neighbours Owen Roes and Castlederg take on the other Strabane team. Newtownstewart came out on top in the final of the shield over Sigersons with Castlederg victorious over Owen Roes in the Trophy Final.

 

Congratulations to youth players Ruairi Doherty and Ria Donaghey who took part in the half time games at the county final on Sunday past.

Lotto;

There was no Lotto on Monday night due to the adverse weather conditions closing down most of the town, the results from the draw will be in next week's club notes.
