Adult Football;

Sigersons senior men were defeated 4-12 to 2-10 at home by Donaghmore at home on Sunday past, Strabane trailed by a point at half time however second half goals from Marc Devine and Warner Mullen could not deny the visitors running out eight-point winners.

 

This result now means Strabane will face a local derby against Urney in the Relegation Play Offs, Strabane need to win their final league game against Greencastle to ensure home advantage.

Sigersons under 16 boys defeated Trillick tonight at home last Thursday night. Pól McColgan grabbed two goals in a minute in the first half along with goals from Eoin Barkley and Eunan McNulty meant Strabane led 4-3 to 1-5 at the break. Oran McGrath grabbed Strabane's only goal in the second half.

Sigersons under 16's went goal crazy on Monday night as they make in 5 wins from 5 in the grade 2 league as they defeated Loughmacrory 8-7 1-3. The lads led 2-4 to 0-3 at half time but pulled away in the second half.

 

Oran McGrath was on top form for Strabane scoring 1-5 with Jack Quinn grabbing two goals as well as Connor O'Hagan, Anthony Crossan, Eunan McNulty and Gavin O'Kane getting goals.

This Saturday the club will running the annual Under 12 boys Peter Duffy memorial tournament at 10am, this is the 30th anniversary of Peter's passing.
