Conor McKenna scored his fifth and agruably best goal of the season for Essendon in their crucial AFL win over the Gold Coast Suns overnight.
The Eglish native and former Tyrone underage star left his marker for dead before firing between the posts in the Bombers' 90-57 victory. He also scored twice against the Suns last season.
Essendon need to win their remaining three matches to secure a top-eight finish and reach the end-of-season playoffs.
