Junior-B All-Ireland: The Final:

All Ireland Junior B Hurling Final was played last Sunday in Pairc Ide Naofa, Raheenagh. Whitechurch of Cork played Upperchurch/Drombane of Tipperary.  Whitchurch going on to win with a score of 2-16 to 0-12

Con and Annie Kirby Memorial 2017

Killeedys' nominated dog, Native Chimes came second in its heat last Saturday night and is now through to the Semi-Final of the Con & Annie Kirby Memorial Stakes at Limerick Greyhound Stadium. If Native Chimes makes it to the final and wins, the club would be presented with a cheque for €10,000. Free passes available from club secretary, all kids Free. Support each night is very much appreciated and encouraged..

Junior A:

Junior A's 1st West League match against Templeglantine is on this Fri night 31st March in Raheenagh at6.45pm.

Dromcollogher Respite Centre cheque presentation

Proceeds from the recent wrenboy concert held in Raheenagh were presented to the Dromcollogher Respite Centre last Friday night. There on the night to hand over a cheque for ‎€6,535 were; Jim Mulcahy, Con Herbert, Margaret Mulcahy, Margaret Curtin, Jane Lacey, Carrigkerry and Killeedy wrenboys.

GAA membership card & rewards programme launched

The GAA has announced details of a new GAA Membership Card and rewards programme entitled grma or 'go raibh maith agat'. This is a thank you to our Members for their involvement in GAA clubs, engagement in GAA activities and attendance at games.

Members are being asked to sign up online via gaa.ie/grma and will receive a new official GAA Membership Card personalised with their name, club and GAA Membership Number.

The grma rewards programme will also be available from January and will provide GAA Members with access to exclusive discounts, special offers and the opportunity to earn points for going to games. Points can be redeemed by individual members or pooled for redemption by GAA clubs.

Membership Cards will only be distributed to members who have signed up to grma online. The programme is available to GAA Members who are over 18. Membership Cards are only issued to GAA Club Members who have renewed their subscriptions.

Community Walking Programme:

Community Walking Programme continues on Wednesday evenings @6.45pm from Raheenagh. Killeedy Health & Wellbeing are now registered with Get Ireland Walking. Walking Group still continues on Tuesdayand Thursday nights at the same time @6.45pm. Open to everyone and new people always welcome.

Older adult Programme:

The Limerick sports partnership aims to get as many older people as possible involved in sport and physical activity and therefore have developed older adult community sports hubs. These hubs provide a monthly come and try 'Go For Life' sessions and a monthly circuit session. Killeedy will have 2 people trained & hopefully the Killeedy Hub will be up and running shortly.

SafeTALK workshop:

Workshop for self-harm awareness and suicide prevention and intervention. These training workshops are facilitated by the Suicide Resource Office CHO 3 (Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary).

Please note, to express interest in the Understanding Self-Harm or the ASIST workshop, you must complete an individual application form and return directly to [email protected] or by post to Rose Kennedy, Office for Suicide Prevention, St. Joseph's Hospital, Mulgrave St., Limerick. When the application forms have been processed, Rose will then inform the applicant of training dates available for them to sign up for. If no date is suitable at the time, their name can go on a waiting list.
