Cathal McCarron will launch his autobiography later this year.
The Tyrone corner back is expected to revisit his controversial past in the book, entitled Out of Control, which is ghost-written by Christy O'Connor, brother of former Clare hurling star and Sky Sports pundit Jamesie O'Connor.
Since details of his gambling addiction emerged in 2013, McCarron has turned his life around and has re-established himself as a key figure in the Red Hands defence.
