Cookstown's Owen Mulligan. INPHO

Former Tyrone ace Owen Mulligan will miss Cookstown's county IFC semi-final against Edendork tomorrow night after his appeal against a red card was thrown out.

The three-time All-Ireland winning forward was sent off in the quarter-final against Rock and his hearing on Tuesday night proved unsuccessful, the Irish News reports.

Edendork could be without county goalkeeper Niall Morgan for the Healy Park clash, who missed the quarter-final win over Derrytresk with an ankle injury. The game will be played as part of a double-header with the other IFC semi-final between Urney and Galbally.
