Mickey Harte insists there is no bad blood between Tyrone and Tipperary.

Saturday's All-Ireland football qualifier in Thurles is being billed in some quarters as a grudge match after the fallout from May's controversial All-Ireland U21 final at Parnell Park, which the Red Hands won by a point.

After the game, Tyrone manager Feargal Logan was refused entry to the Tipp dressing-room.

"I think that was much exaggerated, as often happens in the media," Logan's senior counterpart Harte said in the Irish News.

"I didn't think it was such an affair as it was portrayed to be, and I don't think many of the people closely involved with the team felt that either.

"So I think it was a bit of a down time in media circles, and they needed something to speak about and it fitted the bill. I don't think it was actually as it appeared to be."
