TYRONE LADIES CHAMPIONSHIP DRAW

Reigning Tyrone ladies senior football champions St Macartans have avoided some of the big hitters in this years championship as the draw was made this week. The Macartans, who snatched the title from the grasp of Carrickmore in a thrilling final last Summer will tackle Dungannon side Aodh Ruadh in the first of the quarter finals. The x=champions will fancy their chances of progession to the decider as they face newly promoted St Enda's in the last four. Beaten finalists Carrickmore open their campaign against Cil Iseal while fellow big hitters Errigal Ciaran will play Cappagh with the winners of those ties meeting in the semi-final. Meanwhile the County board agreed to proposals from the fixtures committee to increase the senior and intermediate leagues by three clubs in each division  next season. To allow that to happen there will be no relegation from senior and intermediate leagues in 2015.
