An umpire got it badly wrong when he awarded a point in a game between St. Michael's and Carrickmore in last weekend's Paul McGirr Memorial Ulster U16 football club competition.
In fairness the sun was in the umpire's eyes as he reached for the white flag, despite the St. Michael's midfielder firing his shot at least three yards wide.
The referee duly overruled him after protests from Carrickmore players and mentors.
