Tyrone minor boss in limbo

Mickey Donnelly's future as Tyrone minor football manager is in doubt after the county board failed to ratify his reappointment.

The Aghaloo clubman, who led the Red Hands to an Ulster title in 2012 and an All-Ireland final appearance last year, still has a year left of his current two-year arrangement, but is now understood to be considering his position after clubs were invited to submit nominations for the position at Tuesday night's county board meeting.

At the same meeting, Fergal Logan was returned as U21 manager for a second year with former All-Ireland winning captain Brian Dooher as his assistant. The identity of senior manager Mickey Harte's new selectors have yet to be revealed.
