Two GAA players have caught the attention of several AFL clubs and have been invited attend the NAB AFL Draft Combine down under in autumn.

Tyrone's Conor McKenna, who impressed at an AFL developmental camp in London last April, is one of the Irish representatives.

To be invited to the combine, a player must be nominated by at least four AFL clubs, and McKenna had already mentioned that the Geelong Cats, Collingwood Magpies, West Coast Eagles and the Western Bulldogs had expressed their interest in him.

McKenna is joined by Kildare's Paddy Brophy, who played in last weekend's defeat to Monaghan.

Like the American NFL draft testing, the AFL Combine is a series of events and challenges whereby teams can measure players by their athleticism, skill sets and personalities.

McKenna and Brophy are just two of the 96-man invite list.

The combine will take place between 30 September and 3 October.
