Training continues at the Club for every age group and as everyone notices up at the pitch there are a few more precautions taking place with temperature checks etc. Please bear with us while this procedure is continuing and please be sure and have your Covid health check questionnaire filled in to avoid any disappointment and not being able to train. We’d like again to thank Kieran Holland and his team of ladies and gents who are giving up their free time to make sure everyone can train in a safe manner, without these important volunteers then it would simply be impossible to provide football during these times. A massive thank you to Shane O’Neill from O’Neill’s Pharmacy who donated 2 thermometers to the Club, they are fairly working their magic these days and speed up the process of getting eager ballers onto the grass.
With all the super weather we’re having this summer I’m sure everyone is spending every waking hour on their patio or garden, soaking up the rays, sipping a glass of Pimm’s, and tucking into a drumstick or a rack of ribs. If this is you and you find yourself heading indoors at dust to pull on a light cardigan as it starts to get a little chilly, then Killeeshil GFC has the answer to your prayers. Kindly donated by Barry Mulgrew and Riverside Civils Ltd, we have a limited raffle for a Fire Pit. All the rage at the moment, fire pits give off great outdoor heat and puts the tin hat on any outdoor occasion, the lucky winner will have a choice of a crest laser cut into the fire pit.
