Clonoe O'Rahilly club notes

April 06, 2020

In these very challenging times, the club are coming up with innovative ways to reach out to our members. We have set many skills challenges for our youth players and are enjoying sharing these through our Social Media pages. Please keep these videos coming in so we can showcase our fantastic youth that are coming through at underage.

We have also set up a YouTube channel and will be uploading many games from days gone by as well as the many memorable Variety Concerts that were held in the Old Hall. Please find the Clonoe O'Rahilly's YouTube page to access all of these.

One of our Members, Pete McKeever is hosting weekly quizzes for anyone who would like to participate. There is a sports quiz every Wednesday at 830pm and a General Knowledge quiz on Saturday at 830pm. These quizzes are great craic and a super way to keep the brain active. To take part, please add Pete (Peadar Macíomhair) as a friend on Facebook.

A massive thank you to Louise Hughes for her fantastic contribution to the article in Gaelic Life highlighting the fantastic work that is being done in our club during these very difficult times. We ask all members to keep safe during this time. We appreciate all of our members and in particular our youth for adhering to the social distancing and staying at home as encouraged and we continue to ask everyone to do so. If you would like to pass on any of your creative ideas of what you have been up to, please just message the Clonoe O'Rahilly Facebook page, we would love to showcase this.

Sympathy is extended to the O'Hanlon Family, Derrytresk on the death of Patricia

We wish all our family and friends, both far and wide, a Happy Easter and that everyone keeps safe and well in these very challenging times.
