These are great times for Kilcoo who are on course for an Ulster club SFC and MFC double.

Six days after their senior side were crowned provincial champions for the first time, Kilcoo's U17s progressed to the semi-finals of the fonaCAB Ulster minor club football tournament thanks to a 3-6 to 1-4 victory over Killyclogher in Belfast on Saturday.

Three first half goals from Jamie McKee, top-scorer Justin Clarke and Sean Og McCusker paved the way for the win over the Tyrone champions who replied with a Gavin Potter major on the stroke of half-time. However, Potter's dismissal two minutes after the restart ended their comeback hopes.

In the only preliminary round tie which was also played on Saturday, a Ryan McFadden penalty helped Donegal's Termon to a surprise 1-10 to 0-6 victory over Silverbridge of Armagh.

In next weekend's quarter-finals, Termon will face Monaghan champions Emyvale, Lavey (Derry) will take on Cavan's Drumloman Gaels, while Enniskillen Gaels of Fermanagh will meet Antrim kingpins Cargin.
