Ádh mór to parish neighbours Galbally who compete in the Intermediate Championship Final this Sunday 6th Oct. Great achievement for the club and great experience for their supporters; from everyone in Donaghmore. Healey Park, Omagh at 4pm this Sunday 6th, for anyone who wants to lend support.

Culture: Beginner and intermediate irish classes continues every Tuesday.  Beginners at 7pm with intermediate at 8pm. Thanks to everyone for coming along.  Classes are one hour and are designed to go at a pace that suits all. It’s not too late to join. Contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or [email protected]. Everyone welcome.

Scór na nOg: The club really wants to put a drive in to this years Scór competitions.  First round of scór na nOg is the weekend 18th/19th/20th of Oct. Plenty of disciplines including music, recitation, quiz, solo singing and ballad group.  Another great opportunity for our youth (U17’s) to get together, meet new friends and express their talents. Please contact Mari Mc Donnell (07866718341) or Clare Mc Crystal (07778526814) for information or to express your interest.

Training and Fixtures:

Senior and Reserves: Seniors and Reserves are back in action this Sat 5th Oct at home to Errigal 3:30pm and 5pm. All club members are asked to volunteer for marshalling and umpire duties for both matches.  Check TyroneGaa link for confirmation of fixtures.

U6/ U8 lads/U10 lads: We look forward now to our annual prize giving and  getting back at next season with our winter programme and wee pats. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.  In the meantime please keep the lads active and a football at their feet. PS we apology if we’ve maybe encouraged the lads to bend the rules on the ‘no football in the house rule’ U16 lads: 3A bounced back from their championship disappointment with an emphatic display in their league qtr final.  Well done and good luck in the semi final lads. 1A have found themselves fixed with two huge matches in four days, starting with the League Quarter Final V Killyclogher on this Sat 5th Oct at 11:30am at home; then on Tues 8th Oct at 7:30pm they are away to Omagh in the Championship Quarter Final.  Again good luck to the lads and their mgt. Coaching continues Sundays at 10:30am. Keep an eye on social media for confirmation of fixtures and results.

P2-P7 Ladies: Welcome break for a month or so then we’ll be thinking of our annual presentation night and plans for next year so stay tuned. Again please keep the girls active with a football at their feet even if it is in the house.

U12 Ladies:  One of the brightest groups of all ages.  These girls have had a fantastic season under fantastic tutelage.  There’ll be no break for these girls as its obvious they always have a ball at their feet.  Great work again to the coaching team and enjoy the break before you get back at the winter programme. U16 Ladies: these guys and their mgt are used to the season lasting longer so it was fantastic to see them finish off the season with a great day out as a team.  A really positive vibe all round as the girls headed to the Ulster Development blitz in Magherafelt before getting their Sunday Dinner in the Gables. Fantastic gesture by the mgt and it was well received with many thanks from the girls and their parents.  Roll on the winter programme and 2020.

Thoughts and Prayers: A couple of local families are privately dealing with illness at the minute.  Please be assured that the club, both players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support to those in the club and community dealing with sickness and bereavement.
