Culture: Beginner and intermediate irish classes start on Tuesday 17th, September.  Beginners at 7pm with intermediate at 8pm. Classes are one hour and are designed to go at a pace that suits all. Some spaces still available on both. Contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or [email protected]. Everyone welcome.

Francis Donnelly Tournament: was a huge success; weather was perfect and football was first class. Congratulations to Eglish on winning the Cup; our own lads won the Shield while Galbally went home with the plate and Kildress lifted the Bowl.  A huge well done to the organising group. Organisational perfection; every detail covered with our guests left in awe. Thanks also to the army of volunteers from referees and umpires; to cooks and hospitality crew; to runners and clearer uppers.  A fantastic show of clubmanship. Thanks also to Jim and Richard for taking photos and to Conor Mc Gahan and Gary Darcy for their services as official referees Well done all.

Training and Fixtures:

Senior and Reserves: Great effort by our Senior men in the Championship V Killyclogher.  Unfortunately we couldn’t get over the line having played some brilliant football and having been ahead for most of the match.  Back to league action next Sunday at 12pm away to Dungannon. Check TyroneGaa link for results and next fixtures for both Seniors and Reserves.

U6.5’s; U8/U10 Boys: Monday night coaching sessions continue every week at 6:30pm. Final few weeks of the season for these football mad youngsters.  Thanks to all the parents, especially those who help with the coaching.  Great year had by all. U12 Lads: Coaching continues Mon 6:15 - 7:30pm and  Wed 6:15 - 7:30pm. U16 lads: Wow, what a feeling.  Both our U16 lads teams have done fantastically well in their respective leagues and look likely to qualify for the knock out stages.  Well done to both players and mgt and good luck as the season heads to its finale. Coaching continues Sundays at 10:30am. Keep an eye on social media for confirmation of fixtures and results.

P2-P7 Ladies: We will be hosting a blitz on Sat 21st which will act as a season finale. Coaching continues Mondays at 6:30pm. Again these sessions are in the final few weeks.  Sincere thanks to all the parents and coaches for your continued support of this fun and energetic age group. U12 Ladies: Wrapped up their Go Games series last week against Moy.  A great season for these girls with outstanding talent and phenomenal potential for the future.  Well done girls and mgt, a special group. U16 Ladies: are in the middle of a hectic and season defining week.  Having played Edendork last Tues and St Macartans (Augher) on Sunday last they now play Moy at home. (Tues 10th 6:30pm). Good luck girls.

Thoughts and Prayers: The club, both players and members continue to offer our thoughts, prayers and support to those in the club and community dealing with sickness and bereavement.
