Donaghmore Club Notes

Congratulations: to all our club members who competed in the All Ireland Fleadh in Drogheda at the weekend.  Especially Tess Mc Donnell and Ellen Mc Kernan from our Ladies U16 team. Comhairdgeas agus maith thú.  Great experience for all.

Culture: Beginner and intermediate irish class will run again in September. Register your interest today. Some spaces still available on both. Contact Seán Antón Ó Conalláin on 07709714100 or [email protected]. Everyone welcome.

Training and Fixtures:

U16 lads: 1A are home to local rivals Dungannon Clarkes while 3A face Aghaloo details for both TBC. Cert to be  two good games but the Clarkes game is not to be missed, so get out and support the lads. Coaching continues Sundays at 10:30am.

U6.5’s; U8/U10 Boys: Monday night coaching sessions continue every week at 6:30pm. U12 Lads: Coaching continues Mon 6:15 - 7:30pm and  Wed 6:15 - 7:30pm. Senior and Reserves: A draw at home to Ardboe will seem like points dropped for the seniors while the high scoring Reserves match saw Ardboe come out on top.  Next up is the short trip to Edendork next Saturday 24th throw in 1pm and 2:30pm. Please keep an eye on social media for confirmation of results.

P2-P7 Ladies: Coaching continues Mondays at 6:30pm. U12 Ladies: Training continues on Sundays at 11:30am. Rd9 of the Go Games season is home  to Aodh Ruadh on Wed 28th Aug at 7pm. U16 Ladies: next league game is away to Omagh on Tues 27th at 6:45pm.  Good luck girls. Training will be Wed and the weekend  Senior Ladies: All the focus now shifts to the Championship Quarter final V Cookstown which is scheduled for Sat 31st Aug at 5:30pm. (Venue TBC).


Thoughts and Prayers: The club asks that all players and members please take some time each week and spare a thought and prayer for those in the club and community dealing with sickness and bereavement.
