Clonoe O'Rahillys club notes

June 17, 2019

Last week's lotto numbers were 1, 3 18 and 22. Pauric Taggart won the consolation prize. Next week's jackpot is £3750.

Pride of place this week goes to our Minor Girls, who for the first time in our short history, lined out in a Grade One minor championship final against Errigal Ciaran. The girls got of to a great start registering the first score. Despite the scoreline, the girls put in a great performance. They girls played with pride and represented our club so well, playing to the final whistle. Unfortunately for our girls it wasn't to be our day playing against Errigal who were going for five in a row. The club is very proud of their achievements this year.

On Monday evening the u21s played Kildress in the field. The young Rahilly's put in a superb performance winning on a score line of 4-13 to 1-9. The Senior men made the short journey to the Moy on Sunday. There was no Reserve game. In the Senior game after a quiet opening quarter, the Rahilly's found the target and went in at the break five points up. At the start of the second half, the Rahilly's scored an early goal which put the match out of the Moy's reach, with Clonoe running out easy winners on a score line of 1-14 to 0-7.

A massive thank you to our Minor Girls and Management who held a successful coffee morning on Saturday in the build up to their Championship Final. This was a great event that was well supported by our gaels in giving the girls a big send off.
