The second round of the Nicky Rackard Cup saw Longford, Mayo and Sligo win, while Warwickshire and Armagh couldn't be separated.
Longford came from nine points down at half-time, 0-5 to 0-14, to beat Monaghan by 2-16 to 1-17 at Inniskeen with Tipperary native David Buckley scoring both of their goals. The midlanders will welcome Armagh to Glennon Brothers Pearse Park for a winner-takes-all clash in two weeks' time.
In the other Group 1 game, the Orchard County conceded a late goal in drawing 1-21 to 2-18 with Warwickshire in Birmingham.
In Group 2, Sligo trumped Tyrone by 3-18 to 0-14 at Scarden, while Mayo were 3-23 to 1-13 winners over Louth in Castlebar.
Keith Raymond posted 0-8 and Kevin Gilmartin, Shane Crowley and Connor Griffin raised green flags in Sligo's win. Meanwhile, Shane Boland fired over 0-11 and Corey Scahill scored 2-2 as Mayo turned on the style in the second half to overwhelm Louth and put last weekend's surprise loss to Tyrone behind them.
