The Senior and Reserve football against Donaghmore did not take place due to the passing of Sally Robinson, a club member and loyal supporter, wife of the late John Robinson RIP and mother, grandmother and great grandmother of a large family circle who have and continue to contribute greatly to the playing, coaching and administration of our club. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam. The dates/times of the Donaghmore game and the next game V Trillick have yet to be confirmed at time of writing – please see Social Media for updates.

Comhghairdeas to club stalwarts Kevin Quinn and Dan McGrath who on Friday the 5th April were presented with Credo Awards by Tyrone Chairperson Michael Kerr and President of the GAA, John Horan. Credo awards are made to the Volunteers who have been nominated from within the clubs of Tyrone to recognise their outstanding contribution and dedication to their club, community and the Association. Maith sibh!

The Minors beat Stewartstown Harps at home on Wed 03rd Apr 4-14 to 1-10 and play Galbally away on Fri 12th Apr at 7pm and Naomh Padraig at home on Wed 17th Apr at 7pm.  The U14s lost to Stewartstown Harps away on Fri 05th Apr 2-10 to 3-05 and play Edendork at home on Mon 15th Apr at 7pm. U14 training continues Mon & Wed 6.30-7.30. Football training for U10s is at 10am on Sat and training for both the U8s and U10s is every Wed 6.30-7.30pm at the Shore.

Minor Camogie training continues Mon at 7pm at the shore with indoor training Thurs at 7.15pm in St. Josephs College Coalisland – all new members welcome. U6/U8/U10 Camogie training continues Sat at 10am - please contact Orlaith on +447880224045 for more details.

Cairde Caoimhin de Barra is open for Club Membership and Membership and Player Registrations are now overdue - £20 Individual, £30 Couple, £10 Senior Citizen. Anyone interested in joining is asked to contact any committee member and see social media for further information.

There was no lotto at the weekend past. The Lotto is now available online at www.klubfunder.com/clubs/derrylaughan_gac (underscore not space). The minimum purchase is £5 – this can be used to purchase 5 weeks worth of 1 line or 5 lines in 1 week. There is also a quick pick (lucky dip) option! The Tyrone Division 1 All County League Last Man/Woman Standing competition is on-going with some surprise results quickly cutting down the numbers remaining!

Please note that due to an extensive maintenance programme and building of a walkway, in and around the shore side of the club grounds and the main pitch are closed other than for agreed training/games – all players and members are kindly requested to observe this notice until notified otherwise.
