St Patrick’s Day: Thanks to our Culture Group, musicians, cooks and helpers at our St patrick's Day gathering. A lovely day of music and chat amongst the village. Marathon: Ladies minors coach Pete Conlon is running the Belfast City Marathon to raise funds for both the ladies youth teams and Torrent Buddies. Training is going well and Pete is working hard through the bad weather. Please look out for the ladies youth players and support them and Pete.
Wee Pats (Nursery - P3) (week 5) this friday 22nd March at 6:30pm (last week) in the Torrent Complex Sports Hall. Fun football skills for boys and girls. Each session costs £1. Thanks to all the senior mens team and minor ladies for helping our wee Pats get their first taste of football.
U8/U10 Boys: Times and days for outdoor sessions will be posted soon.
U14 lads: League continues Monday 25th March home to Cookstown @ 7pm. Training continues Thursday 6:30-7:30 Minor Lads: Training continues Wednesday at 7:30pm. League begins next Sunday 24th March at home to Moy. Check social media for confirmation of throw-in.
P2-P7 Ladies: Winter programme ended last Tuesday. Thanks to all the girls for they’re great effort. Everyone’s looking forward to getting out on the grass in early April.
U14 Ladies: Again the girls winter indoor sessions ended last Tues. Outdoor training continues Saturday 2:15-3:30 on the field. Again well done to all the girls for completing the winter skills programme see you all out on the grass.
Minor Ladies: Training is now Tues 5:15-6:30 and thursday 7:30-8:30 with seniors. Next game April 2nd v Cookstown, away. Senior Ladies: Training continues Mondays and Thursdays 7.30pm-8.30pm.
Volunteer Day: Saturday 30th March, in preparation for the senior season kicking off the club is calling on all members and families to ‘chip in’ to give the club and grounds a spring facelift. Any contribution of time or skills will be welcomed. Please keep an eye on social media for further details.
Sympathies: The club continues to offer prayers to the wider Slevin family on the passing of former player and honorary Vice-President Eddie Slevin. Rest in Peace Eddie.
