Clonoe O'Rahillys club notes

January 14, 2019

Last week's lotto numbers were 5, 9, 15 and 24 with Una McKee and Patsy Nixon matching three numbers. Both received £25. Next week's jackpot is £3200.

Congratulations to our minor and senior player Sian Fitzgerald, who as part of the Academy camogie team, won the Ulster Medallion Shield. Well done Sian..

The Minor Girls training continues on a Wednesday and Friday evening. On Wednesday, the girls are in the main hall from 7-8 while on a Friday they are on Johnson's pitch from 7-8. All new members are welcome.

Club membership is now open for the coming season. Due to new data protection laws, all members need to complete a new form that has been issued from Croke Park. To facilitate this, the club are holding two registration nights for both adults and youth this week on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 8-9 in the bar. Members of the committee will be present with these new forms.

With the new season upon us, the club are looking for volunteers to help with the day to day running of the club.  Anyone interested in becoming a lotto seller or having a sign displayed on the pitch should contact any member of the committee.

One way of helping the club is by contributing to Cumann O'Rathaille. If you are interested in joining please contact Sean O'Neill or Eamon Hanna.

A vital part of our games are our referees. Without volunteers to take up the whistle, games won't take place. If you are willing to referee either youth or adult games for either boys or girls, please contact a committee member.

Dates for the diary. The Dinner Dance will be held this year in our newly refurbished lounge on Saturday 16th February. Tickets are available from any member of the committee. With a big push on fundraising this year, the 6th April is earmarked as a night not to be missed. More details to come closer to the time.

The lights will continue to be lit up from 7-9 on a Monday and Wednesday evening as part of our Winter Health and Wellbeing programme. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in whether they are walking, running or jogging.

With our 3G and indoor sports halls, anyone interested in booking a slot are asked to contact Alice on 07526834948. With our state of the art facilities, we are able to cater for any function or occasion. We have also started taking bookings for Confirmation and Communion. Anyone interested in booking or requiring further information, please contact Kelly Anne 07592330113.
