Moy still awaiting county board response

The Moy GAA club are still waiting on a response from the Tyrone GAA board over their plea to reconsider its findings on the incident that led to former county star Sean Cavanagh receiving hospital treatment.

The injuries sustained by Cavanagh were deemed by the county board to have been caused by an accidental collision, after the reviewed footage of the game between Moy and Edendork.

The Tyrone Senior Football Championship game featured six red cards, 20 yellow cards and a black card as Edendork clinched a 0-10 to 0-9 victory after a late point from former Tyrone panellist Darren McCurry.

A spokesperson for Moy GAA told the Ulster Herald: "We have spoken directly to Tyrone county chairman Michael Kerr requesting a copy of the match which is our entitlement but that has yet to happen. We have also yet to see a copy of the referee's report which we too have requested."

There are fifteen county finals taking place this weekend with ten of those in football. Join our match tracker on Sunday afternoon for live updates from around the county grounds.
