Carlow manager Turlough O'Brien is by no means daunted by the task of facing Tyrone in the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers.

O'Brien could be forgiven for lamenting over the fact that they have to face the three-time All-Ireland champions who needed extra time to see off the challenge of Meath in the opening round of the qualifiers.

However, the Carlow manager described being drawn against the Ulster as 'fantastic' when asked his thoughts on the draw by the Carlow Nationalist.

"It's a fantastic game to get," said O'Brien. "Tyrone are a big team. Obviously, we have to dust ourselves down after the weekend but we will do that.

"We will relish playing a top team like Tyrone."

Carlow will have home advantage for the clash against the Ulster side on Saturday, June 23rd.
