The Dr McKenna Cup final will not take place until the mid-February break of the Allianz League following the postponement of the competition's second semi-final yesterday.
Donegal and Armagh were scheduled to meet last night but after Ballybofey's pitch was deemed unplayable it was confirmed that the game has been switched to this Saturday evening at the same venue (throw-in 6pm).
The same date had been fixed for the competition's final and with the Allianz League beginning on Saturday week it means that February 17/18 will be the closest weekend available as seven-in-a-row chasing Tyrone look to defend their title against this weekend's winners.
