Any person that would be willing to help with the boys or girls underage teams are asked to contact Kieran Hughes or Orlagh Rafferty as soon as possible.

 

Any player who intends to play Senior/Reserve/Under 21 men's Gaelic Football must pay their club membership, otherwise they will not be covered by the GAA insurance scheme, there can be no exceptions to this rule. All players are asked to pay Gary Coney, Mal Hughes or Shane Devlin.

 

The under 21 start of their campaign in the coming week watch local press for details.

 

The club dinner dance will take place in the Greenvale hotel on Friday 2 of February. Tickets are priced at £20.

Last Monday morning the club and indeed the whole community were plunged into a state of shock with the sudden and untimely death of Christopher Colhoun.  Christopher was a proud Pomeroy gael who had come to live among us after his wedding to Lisa just over 4 years ago.  Any person who had got to know him had to be impressed by his determined manner to succeed in sport and his professional career. To his wife Lisa children Grace and Beth and to the whole Colhoun, McAliskey and McCann families we offer our deepest and sincere sympathies. Mary Queen of the Gael Pray For Him.
