Killeeshil club notes

November 21, 2017

Monday the 20th of November was a sad day for our club as we learnt of the sad passing of Fr James Crowley. Fr Crowley was our long serving parish priest and an Honorary President of our club who also managed our senior team, a few years ago. He will be sadly missed around our club because he was a driving force behind many of the major projects undertaken by our club over the last 34 years. Fr Crowley will always be fondly remembered by everyone in Killeeshil GFC. The committee, players and members of Cill Iseal Naomh Mhuire G.F.C, deeply regret the death of Fr James. Mary, Queen of the Gael pray for him.

As a mark of respect, due to the death of Father Crowley, all activities within our club are cancelled this week.

Commiserations to our Ballad Group of Hannah, Aimee, Bronagh, Shannon and Emily who put in an exceptional performance in the Tyrone Final of Scor Na Og, last Sunday (19th) in Galbally, but unfortunately didn't qualify for the Ulster stages of the competition.

Mass for deceased members of the Club will be celebrated on Sunday the 3rd of December, at 11 am Mass in Tullyallen.

The Club AGM will be held on Sunday the 3rd of December, at 7 pm, in the Community Centre. Nomination and proposal forms can be obtained from the Club Secretary.

Killeeshil GFC send our condolences to the O'Neill family, Warwickshire on the death of Philomena.
